What is a guitar?
A guitar is a stringed musical instrument that produces sound when its strings are plucked, strummed, or picked. It typically has a long neck with frets, a body that amplifies the sound, and six strings (though some guitars can have 4, 7, 12, or more strings).
The guitar is versatile and can be used for solo performances, accompaniment, or as part of a band. It is one of the most popular and accessible instruments worldwide, allowing players to express melody, harmony, and rhythm in countless musical styles.

Acoustic guitar – Produces sound naturally through its hollow body; often used in folk, classical, and popular music.
Classical guitar – a type of acoustic guitar with nylon strings, ideal for fingerstyle and classical music.

Electric guitar – are widely used in genres such as rock, jazz, blues, metal, and pop. They allow for a huge range of sounds, from clean melodies to heavy, distorted riffs, making them extremely versatile instruments for both rhythm and lead playing.

Bass guitar – a stringed instrument similar in shape to a regular guitar, but is designed to play lower-pitched notes that support the 'low end' of a song, forming the rhythm and harmonic foundation of a song.
Great place to learn guitar! 2 thumbs up!!
